Patrick Murphy - future star?
Edited on Thu May-15-08 12:24 AM by Lakerstan
The guy is only 34 - comes from swing state PA, is an Iraq war vet, was the youngest professor at West Point, has written a book and is vehemently anti-Iraq war.

This guy sounds like a real up-and-comer. Would be a nice face in an Obama administration.

1. Born in 73. He's going on or is 35.
And I really like that guy. Well spoken rep, for certain.

2. YES!
I think he's definitely on his way. I love this guy. His attitude, his energy, and he's damned smart too..and quick.

I've seen him speak a few times on TV. My favorite was an appearance he did at the Constitution Center in Phila. about two months ago. They carried it on CSpan.

I was glued to the TV.

If they have it in their archives, its worth a look.

But we need him in PA, at least till we have a comfortable majority on the Hill. Maybe a possiable Pres/VP in 2016?

7. Call me shallow if you must...
but since I am a C-Span junkie, I think the Senat could use an infusion of hotness ;)

9. A little hotness never hurt anyone. At least folks would be watching
C-Span and getting educated. After all, Obama promises to do many open government meetings through C-Span. Might as well we get used to it. ;)
