9. Thats a fake picture
You can spot somebody smiling in there. Plus no sante person would take their time and take that picture when the wave is coming at them like that.

21. I am not sure if that is a Tsunami picture
For a Tsunami of that magntitude to happen you need to have an enormous earthquake in the sea. Now who really goes out after an earthquake like that to the beach to witness such an event? Plus all the camera frenzy.

Just look at this:

I would like to know how this picture was taken? If this indeed was a tsunami.

32. I've seen those photo's before
It is a picture of the Yang-Tse tidal bore also called the Haining Tide http://www.haining.gov.cn/english/abouthaining/place/tide.htm

This tidal bore is a regular, predictable phenomenon and pulls in visitors who want to watch it. It can reach 30m (100 ft) in height

23. Maybe because they don't yet understand the magnitude of what is about to happen?
People flocked to the shoreline when they heard that for some unknown reason the ocean was actually RECEDING. That was water being sucked out to sea in advance of the oncoming wave. More people were killed than acually lived near the beach because of the influx of "looky loos".

7. so Obama only needs 113.5 delegate to clinch
please forgive me if my math skills are in error

http://www.barackobama.com/resultscenter/index.php

per his site, he has 1891.5. He will most likely pick up 19 from Edwards (leaving 114.5)

and now this Super makes 113.5 needed. He can get 96 if he splits the remaining primaries 50/50, which would leave 17.5 more supers....

His Magic Number is Shrinking

113.5

"Today, by virtue of a unanimous vote of our International Executive Board, we find ourselves once again in agreement with Senator Edwards, this time with his decision last evening to endorse Senator Barack Obama. "

24. SEVEN MORE DELEGATES, 1 SUPER, 6 PLEDGED FROM EDWARDS!
Edited on Thu May-15-08 11:55 AM by IWantAnyDem
Second one of the day:

Larry Cohen, the president of the Communication Workers of America and a super-delegate from D.C., will endorse Obama today, CWA's communications office confirms to me.

And Obama picks up six of the Edwards delegates:

If this keeps up, Obama may have the majority of pledged delegates this week.

29. That's enough for today
Obama already said he is planning to claim PD victory on Tuesday. It is now clear that they can announce a total victory on Tuesday. It only takes about 5-10 SDs a day over the next 4 days, and they probably have them all teed up.

Expect an extra special time in Portland on Tuesday. I bet you will see a stage full of the real movers and shakers. Edwards, Gore, Kennedy, Dean, Kerry, Richardson, Carter.

I wish Bill, Hillary and Gen. Clark would come to this party.
