Just curious...is this something we can all agree on?

Also, can we all agree that Pat Buchanan is a racist bastard who should not have a platform on MSNBC?

instead of me?

5. 2) I believe Pat's was an in-wedlock birth
So he's not technically a "bastard."

But he is a filthy, racist prick.

17. You don't think Pat Buchanan is racist?
Do you agree with this statement then:

No people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ’60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.

8. Has Hillary responded to his comment?
I read Obama's response to GWB's hateful comment, but I haven't seen Hillary's response. Has she publicly commented?

11. It was just reported that McCain "takes Bush's word" that he wasn't talking about Obama
Now THAT's poor judgement right there, i.e., taking George W. Bush at his word for any DAMN thing.

As a former member of the Intelligence Community, I'm also not loving the fact that BUSH BLAMES "Intelligences Sources" for the Iraqi Invasion.

He has NO Shame. :(

12. Yes
Out of line, over the top, and could have stated the same general idea that he holds in much more dignified and rational words.

Instead, he fear mongered. Just like Hillary has done on several occasions - and no matter who does it, it stinks. Period. I don't mind a free debate of differing ideas, even can tolerate hearing ones repugnant to me personally.

But I am bitching sick and tired of this - as I only hear it from people who are losing their grip on power or their ambitions. Like I care what they think.

13. It's a set-up
The repukes are going to nail Obama again on Wright's views and Wright's associates' views on Israel. Obama will once again have to claim he didn't know, whereupon they will nail him on the trust issue. Ugly storm coming up.

16. Absolutely
I'm wondering what my late father in law would say to Bush's comments. He was a Navy pilot in WWII, and Jewish. I'm sure Sid didn't appreciate what Prescott Bush did to help the Nazis. Funny how Bush neglected to mention anything about his family's historic ties with Hitler.

21. I cannot agree with your first question because obama responded
too quick to his comment. Just shows how really inexperienced obama really is on foreign relations. Also, shows how thin skinned he is and this will be a problem if he gets the nomination in the general election. Not speaking out for bush, but he has said these same words over his seven years and obama should have not responded.

As for the second there is some truth to your qestion concerning buchanan.

22. it's hard for me to agree
because I have no clue what Bush said.

I love these threads that assume we are all watching CNN or MSNBC, especially since I don't even get those stations.

Things that make you go 'huh?'

So I am searching this thread and kinda having a fit like O'Reilly. "WHAT DID HE SAY? WHAT DID HE SAY? WHAT THE FU$% DID HE FU$%ING SAY?"

Bush is 99.9999% always out of line and Buchanan should
have been thrown on the trash pile 40 years ago.
