CNN "Poll of Polls" shows Obama beating McCain in fall matchup
The recent endorsements come amid a new CNN general election "poll of polls" released Thursday, showing Obama leading McCain by 48 percent to 43 percent. Clinton leads McCain by 48 percent to 44 percent.

The polls were taken May 8-12 and consist of three surveys: Gallup (May 9-13), Quinnipiac (May 8-12), and ABC/Washington Post (May 8-11). The poll of polls does not have a sampling error.

The last general poll of polls, released April 29, showed Obama leading McCain by two percentage points and Clinton leading by one percentage point.

2. I'm sure they're hurting. I don't envy them right now.

3. I dunno. For all the sports I've played for decades, I play as hard as anyone ever did....
But I was never the least bit upset when I lost. I've never really understood "hurting" because of losing a competition. I am aware that many people are like that, though.

(Now missing a layup or a tackle, on the other hand - THAT would piss me the fuck off. :P)

4. Well, I can relate to them, though it's not a fair comparison.
I first got involved in politics in the 2004 primary. I was a Kucinich girl and my heart broke when he didn't win. Granted, he didn't even come close to winning. The only maybe fair comparison was when Kerry conceded. I burst into tears and truly mourned.
