last year, what did you think the GE match up would be? |
|
I was leaning towards Clinton/Guilini myself. I think a lot of people thought that too.

6 months to go... anything can happen.
The GOP is desperate. The Dems are desperate. Anything can happen.
Stay tuned for Bush's pardon of himself. A first in US presidential history!

12. I honestly though Hillary would slip up. |

And I never though Guiliani had a chance. I wasn't sure if anyone could beat her, though I thought Obama had the best chance.

Romney was their only sensible candidate -- had they wanted to win.

15. Romney's a Mormon, though and that was always going to hurt him |
|
Edited on Thu May-15-08 01:47 PM by galaxy21
I don't have a problem with it, but I remember reading a lot of people just weren't comfortable voting for a Mormon. Seriously, there were probably people out there wondering how many wives he had. People can be very close minded.

17. Clinton/Giuliani was the "given"..and I would have happily supported Clinton |
|
and DID support her until Bill started the racial shit in SC.. I was for her, mostly because I loathed Rudy...but would have gladly supported her..
If She had not gone racial and passive-aggressive-psycho in Feb & March, I could have still supported her IF she had been winning and winning "fairly"..
Once Obama ran the table with 11 in a row, I saw how desperately awful her campaign was, and coupled with the racial shit, I could no longer ever think of voting for her.
