[Clinton & Obama Supporters] - Killer Questionaire Accurately Identifies the CANDIDATE BEST FOR YOU
Edited on Thu May-15-08 05:03 PM by quantass
I recall taking the Electoral Compass a number of months back to see which candidate (Republican or Democrat) best suited me. Mine came out to Obama. DON'T TAKE IT SO SERIOUSLY, TRY IT OUT FOR SOME FUN!

I want to hear what your results are. It would be interesting to hear from Clinton supporters, including West Virginians.

The site is: http://www.electoralcompass.com/

1. these political compass tests
are largely useless - people don't vote on a set of position papers.

They vote on a lot of qualities that are much harder to measure.

2. They also skew libertarian
The libertarians cooked up this whole deal with those silly business cards about 20 years ago.

11. Which hacks me off to no end
Since I'm a bit more conservative on abortion and crime, I get compared to all sorts of foul historical tyrants!

13. Nobody is making you take part in it.
I like them since i'm a policy wonk, though I don't consider them much more than light entertainment.

15. I didn't feel pressured
don't worry.

I'm simply offering my opinion on the usefulness of such exercises.

My pencil was right on top of Obama's face, so I guess that means I'm supporting the right candidate. Also, I'm furthest from useless old Fred Thompson.

In the list, it was Obama, then Edwards, Richardson, Clinton and the rest all the way to Fred.

Thanks for sharing this... I love quizzes!

9. Obama and Edwards are the only candidates in my oval
Edited on Thu May-15-08 04:45 PM by stratomagi
with Richardson on the very edge. I am the most opposed to McCain...though in all honesty I didn't need this quiz to tell me that. :) I'm apparently more liberal than all of them though.

23. Sweet! I've never flown that airline... frankly, words that start with Q and then have no U...
afterwards -- look awfully strange to me!
Does Qantas mean anything? Is it some kind of Australian dialect?
I notice you spelled it qUantass and not qantass...

Cheers!

19. Fred Thompson
Is the furthest away from me.

Your position in comparison with the candidates.
You have responded to 36 propositions. Based on the responses you provided, you are the closest to
Barack Obama and you are the furthest away from Fred Thompson

And I keep getting told that the only reason I support Obama is because I've been 'brain washed' and have 'drunk the kool-aid'. :eyes:
