I think Joe Biden would make a great VP
I don't know if he would take it, but I have to admit, that man sure can kick ass when he wants to.

2. I wasn't too impressed that he agreed with Hillary about obliterating Iran
But other than that and the bankruptcy bill he's a good guy.

3. I like where he is now -- as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee --
they cover EVERYTHING. Today it was relations with China and the global food crisis. WIth a Dem in the WH, I'm thinking the SFRC's recommendations would be listened to (for a change).

If he is offered a position, I think he'd prefer SOS -- but I doubt anybody would say 'no' to any cabinet or executive position offered. Pretty heady stuff.

Whatever position he holds, he keeps fighting the good fight. :7 :hi:

5. Two problems one unfair and one fair...

The republicans would resurrect the plagierism story..

And Biden did do the bidding on Bankruptcy Reform for the banks and lenders which every consumer group in the country opposed. And to some of us the bankruptcy reform bill was a betrayal of the core values and beliefs of the Democratic Party.

And it wasn't just Biden, there were other dems who deserved condemnation for their pimping for the credit card industry as well.

And this all sucks--because I think he'd be an awesome VP pick if it wasn't for this sin which I find unforgivable.

6. I like him as a VP bulldog. He'd go out there and whop whoever's ass got in Obama's way
but he doesn't match Obama's style or narrative all that well and I'm not sure he will bring any states along with him. But he is fierce.

14. Yeah, but in another 20 years, he'll be too old
(someone had to say it. )

If two senators on a ticket wasn't suicide, Biden might be a good choice. He's a possibility for the cabinet though.

9. I agree it would be a SMART choice to make. There are several who fit that bill...
and Biden is definitely one of them.

15. Sec of defense would be perfect!
A Senator from Delaware as Veep is just not going to do it for us.

16. Biden was my first choice, but I think Obama is better off choosing a Governor.
Obama really doesn't need someone with years and years of experience in Washington. He needs to double down on the change message.
