Notice how Democrats are defending Obama rather than |
|
joining in the RW criticism. Hillary, Biden, Pelosi and others quickly jumped on W and McCain for their outrageous attacks on and distortions of Barack's position. Too often in the past when a Democrat was under assault, our people would offer a lukewarm defense or become part of the critical claque. The days of Democrats siding with the GOP on wedge issues seem to be a thing of the past. The Party has grown a spine. The bully boy tactics of intimidation and smear will not work nearly as well when we defend our own rather than half heartedly abet the RW talking points. Thanks, Hillary, Joe and Nancy for presenting a unified front against this unfair and historically far fetched onslaught.

1. One reason may be these recent upset elections that have put Dems..... |
|
into what used to be strong Republic seats... I think they are scared shitless, and they have reason to be.

We are furious, which is one reason Obama is kicking booty. We don't want someone to just go along with the same old, same old crap.

2. Bulletin: Operation Chaos is FAILING! |

Their divide-and-terrorize tactics aren't working anymore ... The RW tools who are out there trying to defend them (e.g., Jon Kyl) are making asses of themselves.

28. The GOP's recent campaign tactics have been quite successful |
|
They've attempted to link Barack Obama with Democratic candidates in 2 recent special congressional elections, and have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. Problem is, those targeted voters appear to be taking a liking to Obama. So it's an utter shame that the GOP has little more than 2 "dead canaries in a coal mine" to show for their efforts. I guess it's back to the drawing board?

12. I am an Obama supporter, but I think this has less to do |

with Barack than it has to do with the Party beginning to understand how damaging it is to be bystanders and/or enablers of RW hit jobs.

We should stand against attacks as a unified party. I see nothing wrong with this, nor do I see it as a dis against Senator Obama.

31. Cleland went to Crawford to denmand Bush order it ended |
|
If there was anyone who was number one it was him. Biden was ok, but it was clear with Cleland that it was personal - both because it happened to him and because it is very clear from things he has said that he knows that Kerry is very special and a close friend. (He spoke once of what hearing Kerry's words in 1971 meant to him.)
