With today's attacks on Barack and Michelle, I do not mind if Obama opts out of public financing
He will need the money to respond to the smears and racial attacks that he and his family are going to face in the General Election. With McCain siding with the smears, he is showing that he will not have a fair election with Obama.

Obama should opt out of public financing and let his supporters fund the fight against smears.

1. Absolutely agree. We need to crush the Republicans this year - and we can.
He'll take some heat, but bring it. The Republicans have enjoyed their endless money machine for years.

Not this year. It's not just the smears. We need to take back our country, and it's going to take money to do it. Screw McCain.
