Don't you think it's surprising all the wannabe presidential candidates have endorsed Obama
Kerry, Kennedy, Richardson, Dean and now Edwards.

All of them have tried to be President and just couldn't get there. Interesting.

Is this their only way to get into the White House?

12. Yeah right? He knows what happened in Florida and the primary
date being moved up by the republicans...and if the dems in Florida wanted better elections there they had no choice but to vote for the bill to get election reforms through the State Legislature...it was a republican tactic to divide our party even before this primary...so Dean...by not allowing their votes to count...has endorsed this division of our democratic party and thus giving his support to Obama...whether spoken or not...actions speak louder than words...here

19. Get a clue ... the Florida Demicratic Party masterminded that shift of the Primary date.

21. I'm back with a link for you to the La Times
First here's a quote and then the link to the full article...

"But Republicans in the Florida Legislature — supported by many Democrats — pushed through a measure setting Jan. 29 as the date for their state's presidential primary. Gov. Charlie Crist, a Republican, is expected to sign the bill."

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-florida20may20,0,5268295.story

The article goes on to say that the repukes didn't know this change in the date of the primary "...would create so much turmoil on the Democratic side."

Now tell me that we haven't been sliced up here...divide and conquer...

27. We have been, but you've got the wrong culprit.
It wasn't 'many' florida democrats - it was all but one. And this was AFTER they were warned by Dr Dean of the potential repercussions. The republicans had enough votes to outvote the democrats, but the florida dems did not even TRY to oppose them - which would have allow Dean to make provision for the change. The florida dems set out on a DLC revolt to deliberately undermine Dr Dean's authority as head of the DNC, and they boasted about how this would embarass him - it was the DLC vs the DNC all along.

And guess who the DLC's candidate is.

Nevertheless, Dean has NOT taken sides. He has only insisted on following the rules that all the candidates agreed to prior to the primaries.

26. As head of the DNC, representing ALL democrats, he is obliged
to remain neutral - no matter how much the DLC snipes at him.

Only a small percentage of candidates actually win. We only have two living Democratic Presidents - and one is Mr. Clinton.
