Those of You Fighting Amongst Yourselves Are Missing the Excitement!!
Edited on Fri May-16-08 12:57 AM by RainDog
Conyers promises to kick Rove's ass.
War fundingstopped in the house.
Gay marriage in CA.
Press, including Matthews, jumping on Bush and GOP for Knesset comments.
Mississippi election shocker. (After Illinois and Lousiana.)
Biden going ballistic.
Begala, Reid, Pelosi have HARSH words for Bush (Begala says he's ashamed Bush is our pres).
Gates says he wants MORE contact with Iran.
DLCr Rahm Emanuel asks if Bush has no shame.

This stuff wasn't happening a couple of weeks ago.

Tsunami about to hit Republicans - their policies are failures.

An emissary from our strongest ally, Great Britain, is presenting the case to the American people that Bush, et al, are guilty of war crimes and if the U.S. doesn't address this, other nations will.

This is a time to celebrate that this horrible time in our history is coming to a close. To celebrate that our system of government still seems to be able to correct itself. Sometimes the wheels of justice move so slowly it's exasperating. But the momentum is finally here that turns that wheel.

2. Great post. And the first person to attack EITHER Hillary or Barack in this thread
will get a fart in the face (from me. And I been eatin' beans all night)

An un-unified and disorganized army has never won a war.

3. If the NEOCONS don't stage a "terrorist" strike somewhere, a BIG
one to cover their excesses, or an all out coup if Obama does get elected....

I'll be happy to send the whole God damned bunch to the Hague.

6. I'm excited about all of these things!
I just hope Conyers keeps his word and actually follows through on arresting that slime ball ROVE. How he has managed to evade the law this long is a mystery to me. He needs to be thrown under the jail, but hopefully his trial extends beyond Bush's last months in office so he can't give him a pardon. He needs to be sent to the same jail cell Siegelman was in.

7. Don't forget:
The Senate voting to roll back rules allowing media consolidation.

It's crazy, but it feels like something just reached critical mass.

11. And not only that
It seems like democrats are suddenly remembering what it means to be a democrat. I hope this is the beginning of something big and not just a weird blip.

14. ...and timid little 'ole me hit "reply all" rebutting a stupid RW email
to a bunch of local people who know me and are Repub business people, nurses, a local politician, and a retired pharmacist! The stupid email was blaming Democrats that have just entered the congress in the last year! I'm sick of being passive about it even though it bothers me. I'm NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! :)
