Shrub's comments helped Obama. |
|
This is hilarious. That dumbass thought he was going to take a shot at Obama, but his stupid strategy has backfired. If you turn on any of the cable news networks it's nonstop Obama all the time. There is hardly a mention of Hillary Clinton. It's as if she doesn't exist anymore.
I don't mean this to imply any disrespect to Senator Clinton BTW. And I know that the nomination has already been decided, but I can't help but think that all of this attention being given Obama because of Shrub's comments can't help but be helpful.
Look for Obama's poll rankings to shoot up in a day or two.

1. What's also hilarious is that McCain gave a major |
|
speech on Iraq yesterday. I think he got muzzled by all this. :nopity:

8. Polls are going to take time. |
|
It is not the quick reactions like in the primary. Things will have to sink in because there are MANY other factors at play.
The most important thing is that it means the republicans got their deck of cards destroyed early in the campaign and now the democrats have a multitude of new talking points against McCain.
So this double teaming of Obama looks to be the double sinking of Bush/McCain.

The harder opponent has already been fought. Its very difficult to campaign against a woman if your a man. Its very difficult to campaign against Bill Clinton if your a democrat. Its alot easier to campaign against an administration that has a 27% approval rating.

15. Bush just proved that the only way he can make himself relevant is to attack Obama |
|
THAT is hilarious and very telling.
Here's a guy with a 71% disapproval rating, a guy who is literally a punchline everywhere but the White House and GOP functions. He still thinks he's the big dog, and thought he'd sling a few free comments in Obama's direction, then hide behind the skirts of the women who do is explaining, like Dana Parino and Condi Rice.
And of all people to wail about Nazis, the last one who should do it is someone named BUSH.

17. Indeed the only thing Bush is doing now is giving Democrats talking points. |
|
And his comments make a REALLY big talking point as evidenced in Obama's speech.
