While I have been active during general election seasons over the years, I have to admit that the primary process is one that, up until now, generally passed me by. This one, for obvious reasons, has managed to keep my attention. Can any of you offer perspective on previous primary seasons? Was there this strong of a minority holdout who decided to defect to the other party's candidate? Or does it just look worse than it is because we're hanging out on DU? lol
The only other instance I can think of is the Dixiecrats, but I'm not sure if this is quite that bad. Your thoughts?

1. No other candidate has had a fanclub (not a cult or a following, a FANCLUB) quite like Hillary |

2. It sure seems that way. Sigh... |

While in one instance it's quite exciting being a part of history in the general sense, it's also a little unnerving. I can imagine what my parents and grandparents went through.
