Edited on Sun May-18-08 03:43 PM by pirhana
And so as Terry McAuliffe, Howard Wolfson and the rest.

Hillary will finish the primary season ....

WHICH ENDS IN 2 1/2 WEEKS.

And she wants a resolution for Florida and Michigan . . .

WHICH WILL BE DECIDED ON IN TWO WEEKS.

Let her finish out the primaries in peace, please.
All your ranting and raving will not change her mind and is doing nothing to help unify they party.

Her campaign has told you all you need to know. Let the next 2 1/2 weeks play out.
2 1/2 weeks.

Thank you.

Edit for the ninos.

3. Wait. Which Terry McAuliffe? The 2008 one who says we should "count the votes" in FL and MI?
Or the 2003 one, who said "the rules are the rules" and that Michigan could "watch the convention on television" if they broke primary scheduling order?

14. Heck, which Hillary?
"I personally did not think it made any difference whether my name was on the ballot. You know, It's clear this election they are having is not going to count for anything." - Hillary Clinton, before the MI primary

"I have consistently said that the votes cast in Florida and Michigan in January should be counted. " - Hillary Clinton, after the MI primary

36. I agree, this will end June 3, let's stop picking scabs and allow these wounds to heal
As long as she is not attacking Obama any longer, I am all for finishing out the string. Not that I have any say in this, anyway. Obama and Hillary supporters must become Democratic supporters, if we are to have success in this election cycle. I am talking all the way down the ticket, too. We are gaining House seats already, and a unified Democratic Party can reap MANY more wins for all of our candidates, which can only help our agenda along. I am tired of saying bad things about a fellow Democrat, and I can't wait until everyone (well, nearly everyone anyway) feels the same way. Go Dems! :kick:

50. I wish you and your cohorts had taken that intelligent advice a lot sooner
and we wouldn't have had this hate fest and split in our party. It's really such a shame to have caused all this unnecessary anger and resentment. but when people speak hatred...hate comes back at them and bites hard.

I pleaded months ago to stop all the hate if you want our votes...but no one seemed to give a shi*. Even thought they now want our support...the nastiness continues. Go figure! I just hope many O. supporters will wise up and heed your request. I'm wishing us all luck!

54. It's a two way street
I tend to give what I get, and I am trying to not perpetuate any more nastiness by responding to it. There have been ugly supporter incidents on both sides, and I am just saying that we should come together, not just for the Presidential Election, but for the local and state Dems that need our help as well. The results of not uniting could be that we don't oust enough Republicans to make a difference in our government. And that would leave us pretty close to where we are now, or even worse. I cannot even fathom the next several years with a Republican WH and Congress.

56. I can't fathom that either.
That's why I have always been appalled and shocked at the comments posted here about Hillary for months. What took you so long to figure out you guys (not necessarily you personally but O supporters in general) were not helping your own party. Yes, it happens both ways...but a far majority of O S are responsible for most the hateful posts. H S seem to spend most their time defending all the anti-Hillary threads...and still are. I'm not saying any more about the subject except to say I hope your fellow O S read and listen to your advice and remember the consequences of keeping up the anti-Hillary posts.

38. Fine...as long as she's willing to pass a weapons check
If she wants to campaign by attacking McCain and Bush, I have no problem with her saying she's the best candidate and likes her own ideas the best. Anytime she starts in about how the Obama campaign is being mean to her, she's going to get the same treatment in return. That includes distorting facts or misleading people about delegate numbers etc.

Just like your signature. Let Hillary tell us why she's the best, not why she thinks Barack is not.

all the other 16 candidates that lost were man enough to drop out. Only reason Hillary is still in the race is because she is Hillary. If any other candidate had lost 14 straight contests they would have either had the good grace to drop out or the PTB would have told that person See Ya, Bye Bye, Don't Let the Door Hit You
