11. Topic A with Tina Brown.
Her show is consistently good. She is an excellent host, too.

4. Did you hear Jon? The greatest satirists during the 30s in Germany...
That really makes me nervous. Like Jon said "We showed Hitler, didn't we?" His point is that humor should serve to spur REAL action. And I agree with him.

crazy waving they still got it wrong.

9. Is this going to be a regular show?
Dean's so used to being a guest, he ended with "Thanks for having me on" instead of "Thanks for being here." :) But I hope it becomes a regular show!!

14. I am hoping they will give him the spot that seems to have been vacated
by Deborah Norville but I'm sure I am dreaming. It would be great. He isn't afraid to talk to people on both sides and get into real issues and have some fun too.

I mean, geez, they gave Joe Scarborough (sp) a show.

8:00 CST week day time slot where Norville used to be but she has disappeared for the last two weeks (probably canceled, but they haven't said for sure, I don't believe).

I like the fact that he played longer clips from The Daily Show, Bill Cosby and the demonstration with Bev Harris instead of the typical 15 second clips that don't even give you a feel for what they are talking about.

28. I think Norville is back next week.
I like her show usually. Not always, but usually.

Dean did a good job, and the whole thing was relaxing to watch. He is so self-effacing about the teletubbies thing.

forgetting that Stewart is the guest.
That was funny.

big time. And I loved the brutal honesty of Dean for having the conversation about how his appearance on TDS was damage control.

17. Actually the password isn't even needed!
She went through a back door that didn't even ask for a password, rather it was a file already uploaded on the main computer.

The password was only needed for the main reading of the voter counting.

Amazing. This is what the media has kept so hidden.

I mean is that the actual software they use! I could do that! Gee I wonder why the Florida elections commissioner did not want to go on that show.

23. Yes, you can...
...I had a friend over, only semi-literate with computers. Used the software and some sample data, and provided her typed information. Took her half an hour to alter vote totals. Access is wafer thin.

21. How appropriate...
...that Tavis Smiley was on. After all, it was on the Tavis Smiley show that I was first introduced to Dean. Kind of fun watching someone host who is so...openly awkward with it ;)
