The main reason: DU didn't deserve my L's. :P

At the time, I was soured on DU (after my 3rd suspension) and figured it's time to take a lower profile. Since then, I've written a few pieces here that have been spread around the internets and I "think" my proper spelling is one reason.
Though, the main reason I used to type with the capital L (long before actually figuring out how to sign up on DU when they had their generic email block) was because I was being plagiarized on many a site. I figured if I typed like that, I'd force people plagiarizing me to clean it up first or else it would be obvious it was my work. Also, I chose L for liberal when it was a very dirty word, and I was one of the only ones on other sites arguing against Bush, and then the Iraq war - it was a shout-out to my timid, overwhelmed liberals on the sites I used to frequent.

Anyhow, stuff I've written now tends to get attributed to me, and I appreciate that.

The only time I see such is when some goober comes rolling in and lays down a bunch of outrageous posts in a really short period of time. I usually don't put them on ignore immediately, because the crew here has fun beating them up, and who am I to look away from that?! But chronic problem posters all go on ignore for me. I'm very liberal in using it, so anyone who gets tombstoned for cause is gone from my screen long before the admins act to tombstone them.

From my impressions, however, many of those tombstones practically took a crap on the admins to get that result. Given all the horrible things I see that are allowed to pass, I can only imagine how bad they must get to earn banning.

So there's my thoughts on the topic. Don't need a return of really problem posters.

When I first started posting here a few months ago I did so because I had to sign up to use the ignore function. I was shocked to read such racism on a progressive board. The mods would lock their shit and warn them but they still kept at it. Some of them have been given a chance to redeem themselves with suspensions. What I find funny is whenever I would go into my ignore list to clean it out there would always be one or two there who would be on suspension for racist comments. Those type of people have no need for a progressive board so let them stay gone. I'm sure most of them have found a pro-Hill site to post on if you miss them so much try there.
