|
you could pitch in and help some of us.
We can't do it by ourselves.
So, come help us out.

5. You're free to vote for whomever you choose. Yet once we have a |
|
Democratic candidate for President, advocacy for any other will be nixed here, as the Administrators have made clear.
Thanks.

Honestly, I'm just curious: Since we already know the nominee won't be anyone but Obama or Clinton, how is it any different? Clearly, McCain (or Nader, Paul, Barr, etc.) will not be the nominee. Why wait to nix support for them?

7. First tell me you're voting for Obama in Kentucky |

And hopefully that he's not going to get killed by as big of a margin as West Virginia.

9. I have never seen anyone say they will VOTE for McCain on DU. I have seen posters say they WILL NOT |
|
vote for various candidates or NOT vote at all and I have seen them be accused of voting for MCCain because of doing so but I have never seen anyone claim to be actually voting for McCain.

20. Someone answered a poll question that way Friday. |
|
And as we know, the administrators occasionally ban people based on their poll answers: I wonder if that person is still here among us?

10. Notice they always threaten to vote for McCain, not Nader. |
|
That's very telling, isn't it? When they threaten to abandon the party, it's not to the LEFT, but to the RIGHT. That's the DLC for you.

rid the party of it's DLC component. I have made a personal vow to never cast another vote for a DLC Democrat, will anyone join me in that pledge?

So probably not deserving of a block of granite.
Anyway, I'd bet a rolled-over Corvair that Nader's percentage won't affect a thing in Nov.

16. I was at the Green Festival in Chicago on Sunday a Nader person came up |
|
to me with a petition asking "can you help us get a candidate on the ballot in IL? Everyone deserves a chance..." No one wanted to sign to get Nader on the ballot. I almost felt sorry for the guy. This was an environmental festival with green ideas (not the green party). It was filled with Hippies old and young. I feel better about this Nader thing. No one cares.

19. They don't understand the difference between someone saying... |
|
"Obama still has some convincing to do" and "vote McCain."
Nor do they understand third person discussions... about voters in various regions and their tendencies.
And they really do not get the difference between consensus and democracy.

25. Ferraro's recent comments are even bigger than a thread at DU |
|
This "nyah, nyah, I can't see what you're talking about" strategy is not very adult. At least admit the problem, you may not be guilty of it, but plenty of others are, including a former Dem VP candidate.
