1. Did you read 538 today? Pelosi's path to the White House?!!!
Tied EV 269/269
--> House delegations vote (one vote per state). This could easily not produce the 26 vote majority needed.
--> If no House agreement, then the Senate votes on the Vice President, who becomes the acting President. The Senate could also tie.
--> NANCY PELOSI is next in the chain of command and becomes President.

2. What? Nancy for President?
I'll check it out, lol! 538 was my next stop anyway, but I think I'll spend some time there today.

:D

4. I checked it out, amazing!
I recall in 2000 discussing what happens if the contest ends in a tie. Of course, then Al Gore was the Senate President and Denny Hastert was the House Speaker. :scared:

6. Do you think Pelosi has a better shot at the White House than HC?
Pelosi needs favorable outcomes in three events, with a probability of, let's say, 0.6%, 6% and 3%.
So, Pelosi's chances are about 0.001%. Is this greater or less than Hillary's odds?

7. It won't happen.
We'll have 51 votes in the Senate, and would select a Democratic Vice-President under that scenario.
