HRC HITS PUNDITS, TOUTS POP. VOTE LEAD

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/05/18/1036863.aspx

“There were some folks who didn’t want Kentucky to vote,” she said. “There are some folks, you can see them on TV every night, who wanted it to be over for me after Iowa. And every time they say it, something funny happens. The voters don’t agree.”

She said these talking heads are “talking at us instead of with us,” and that they don’t have as much at stake in the election.

“I would bet every single one of those folks, they’ve got a job; we can see that. They’ve got good health care; we know that. They can pay whatever the charge is at the gas pump most likely. They can send their child to college. I’m not running to represent them, I’m running to fight for you and to be your champion.”

"And the states that I have won are states a Democrat has to win if we are going to be elected in the fall," she said. "People ask me all the time: 'Why, why are you continuing to fight on?' Well, because I’ve got more votes. Because I believe I’d be the best president. And I believe I’m the stronger candidate to defeat Sen. McCain."

2. Well, my SO would be one of them
We had a tiff over something unrelated yesterday, and he finally said to me, "you're like Hillary! You won't give up!"

I took that as "sit down and shut up" and have barely spoken to him since. I am not even sure he knows what he said to annoy me so much, but he is one of those people who acts all holier-than-thou after a fight and won't condescend to try and fix it.

4. Why wouldn't Kentucky vote. Edwards is out of the race and he's still on the ballot
she would be on the ballot. Nobody was trying not to allow KY to vote. Another Hillary lie.

9. That's why I wanted her to stay in until after the KY and WV primaries.
Otherwise it would be extremely embarrassing for Obama to lose to a dropped out candidate.

17. Oh please
I am so sick of the condescending attitude that Hillary and her campaign has been running on (making excuses) ever since they let the "ineveitable" get away from them. First she thinks she is Yoda and is going to teach young Obama the ways of the world NOW the only reason for her to stick around is to save HIM from embarassment.

18. The MSM would've been repeating that "buyers' remorse" BS 24/7 if he had lost unopposed.

19. Like they repeated "Reverend Wright" repeatedly???
How did that work out? Did the DC media get rid of that nuisance and install Hillary and get back to the narrative???

No they couldn't put him away because he has beat her at every turn and is out of their (DC MSM) reach at this point.

Hillary takes on the pundits ...that is too funny. The only reason she got bad press was because it was impossible to ignore how HORRIBLE she and the entire campaign has been.

5. Er, nobody said KY couldn't vote. And that pop-vote lead discounts four states,
counts FL, counts MI, and doesn't count the MI uncommitteds.

11. How does she lie like that with a straight face?????????
She says she has more votes.

Does everyone realize that when she adds up the "votes" she's excluding all of the caucus states
in that total?????

That means several states do not count in her totals.

She's fucking insane.

I guess her deadpan, sing-songy tone should come as no suprise. Look at how animated and wistful she was
when she lied about her sniper-fire adventure in Bosnia.

16. Hillary Talking Like She's Middle Class is Funny
“I would bet every single one of those folks, they’ve got a job; we can see that. They’ve got good health care; we know that. They can pay whatever the charge is at the gas pump most likely. They can send their child to college.

That's funny, because all those comments can be applied to Hillary as well.

The outright lying "Well, because I’ve got more votes"is not so funny.

20. This is exactly why
people like my brother and his wife think she is leading in the popular vote and has a chance. Because she continues to lie and confuse and obfuscate. Who in hell ever said the people of Kentucky shouldn't vote? No one. She's just trying to rile them up against those "uppity" folks who say they don't count; when in truth, she is the one who has been trying to disenfranchise millions of voters.

God, she makes me sick. I've been trying really hard to move-on and ignore her, but she makes it impossible.
