Obama: 'McCain has decided to run for George Bush's third term'

"John McCain has decided to run for George Bush's third term and we can't afford it," Obama told a crowd in Billings, Montana on Monday.

The New York Times notes, "Speaking during a town hall meeting in Billings, Mont., Senator Obama fired back at Senator McCain. 'Let me be absolutely clear, Iran is a grave threat,' Mr. Obama said, adding that he blames the policies of the Bush administration for emboldening Iran."

“We should not just talk to our friends we should be willing to engage our enemies as well,” Obama added. “That’s what diplomacy is all about.”

1. There's video out there somewhere...

From round about last summer. There was some kind of Republican Candidate Prayer Breakfast or some bullshit. This was when McCain was clearly off his rocker, before he hired handlers, and nobody figured he'd win the nomination.

So he went on and on at this thing about how George Bush should be the Republican nominee for 2008. He was just totally kissing ass, making a fool out of himself. Almost getting booed... at a republican fundraiser.

It made some noise. Got played on the Daily Show.

But I haven't heard one bit of it since.

They should be playing it on heavy repeat. I don't know why they're not.
