The Boo-Hooing and Crying from the Clinton Campaign and her Supporters is Becoming Annoying |
|
First Geraldine Ferraro calls Obama a sexist (which is devoid of any kind of reality) on FAKE News...then someone else on FAKE News says she'll campaign against Obama if he is the nominee. There are tons of other examples, but look people...SHE WILL NOT BE THE NOMINEE! It is time to accept that and move on. This slow death (which Clinton is helping since she's staying in the race) is not healthy for her supporters or Clinton herself. It is creating this mental detachment from reality that I'm even noticing here on DU. Obama has never said anything close to sexist...and you know that. Continuing to repeat a lie hoping it turns into fact is something Bush does. It's like closing your eyes and hoping when you open them...a new reality has magically emerged. I also blame this on the MSM who has been pretending this race was closer than it was for months now. The Nation magazine has written an excellent article on that.
I guess my point is, if you support Clinton...then support her. But don't turn your frustration into baseless attacks on Obama to soothe your bruised emotions. I know we're supposed to be nice to each other now. But I'm sorry, and tired of Obama supporters being blamed for all that goes on at DU.

25. What is booing? Maybe I can help you, it's the act of saying "BOO". There, that wasn't to tough .. |
|
was it? And a "BOO" is pretty much what your bullshit post deserves. Check out the front page and count the number of anti-Hillary threads vis-a-vis the number of anti-Obama threads. Let me know what you find. Fuck, I can't even understand sore losers, but sore WINNERS lead one to believe that the herd needs to be thinned.

If there are such creatures, it'd justify what Obama supporters have been saying this whole time.

9. I understand and sympathize with that Clinton supporter. |
|
Too many Obama supporters think they can go it alone. They do not need anyone except their own youth coalition and the African American community. It is fine to bash anyone who considers history in a thoughtful manner and respects how we achieved some of the gains that we have.
You ask for unity while disrespecting us? No wonder some people are considering leaving the party.

Why are the Klinton Kops on this board so intent on pissing off the most loyal base of voters the party has ever had?

Wonderful attitude. Precisely why the Klinton Kampaign Korps are turning off young voters by the millions.
Obama has woven a field of support from Democrats of every stripe, creed, color, age and background. His is a truly inclusive campaign. Meanwhile, Queen Hillary panders to the ignorant white racists to bail her out. Lovely.

28. You understand wanting to inflict wire hanger abortions on girls because they didn't vote Hill? |
|
Wow. I don't know how I could damn you more than you have done yourself. I sincerely hope you do not represent the opinion of other Hillary supporters. We in the younger generation have been watching the older generations destroy our future, one which they will have not experience, for our entire lives. Now I see that even much of what passed for the "Left" of my parents generation wants to murder their children. You say that it was your time, that the next generation "owed" you eight more years. Why? The Boomers had 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Bush. That's your generation; it's not your turn anymore. New voices had to step forward because your generation went Republican, and we who are in the prime of our lives are the ones who will be saddled with the problems that Boomers are creating. I suppose you don't need to care about global warming, human rights, and even just the simple need to be able to provide for your family. But we do, so if you won't do the right thing for its own sake, then just go away and be miserable by yourself.

Do you know how to read? Where did I say or even imply that I wanted to inflict wire hanger abortions on anyone? Who the hell do you think you are? Do you give money to Planned Parenthood every year? I do. Did you take part in any marches or demonstrations, or escort people in and out of clinics past demonstrators? I have.
All generations want to blame the one that came before it. That is normal. But where did I say anything about being owed anything? Who raised you to think that ANYONE owed you anything? If your boomer parents did that, then they are at fault for raising a selfish know-nothing brat.
My generation did not go republican. Look at the people in the bush administration. They were mostly older people who advised his father and have been around since Watergate. And my generation, if you are referring to the baby boomers, was never one thing or another. There are too many of us to classify us, and we have always been a deeply divided generation.
Look again at what I posted. I said I sympathized with the Clinton supporters. I criticized the idea that you fools think you can go it alone. NO ONE can. Get off your high horse you stupid little shit, and go back and read what I wrote. Get a sense of history, get a life, and get out of my face. If we lose this election because of the likes of you, don't come back to DU whining. We will be lucky if there is a DU, or any other place like it. While you are reading and rereading, grow up!

11. You must be on a different forum than I am.... |
|
After reading this, I started going down the latest threads posted on GD:P (I don't have anybody on ignore, BTW), and it was more than 4-1 anti-Clinton to anti-Obama threads (I also made a category for "neutral").
You don't have to like what Clinton supporters say, but to act as if this forum is anti-Obama is untrue. Even the admins admit that there are far more Obama supporters here than Clinton supporters.

19. I think the OP was referring more to Ferraro et al on Fox News rather than DU |
|
The OP did mention DU, yes, but the thrust of it was Ferraro and the others.
There HAS been some saber rattling in recent days by some hard core Clinton supporters about actively campaigning against Obama. I don't think anyone really is paying that much attention to them, however and this too will pass, imo.

Paying Super Delegates? Good grief. My television screen is not going to survive this primary. I've never detested a Democrat as much before and that now includes Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman. She's just nasty.
