Hillary Highlights Problems With Caucus States |
|
She makes some http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video_log/2008/05/clinton_makes_her_case_on_elec.html">pretty good points. I only wish she had started pointing this stuff out a few weeks ago.

1. I wish she had brought this up before the primaries so it could have been fixed. |

3. She was for caucuses before she was against them |
|
"I want to thank all of my supporters and everyone I have met in Iowa over the past 11 months. I am in awe of your commitment to the WONDERFUL TRADITION OF THE CAUCUSES. Now they are here, and I hope that on January 3, you will stand up and be counted for me."

7. There may be problems with them, but they ARE legal. |
|
I don't like what she's doing here, as if those of us who live in caucus states are somehow not doing it right or something.
And the time for her to have raised these concerns was long before any voting took place.

10. The Clintons loved the caucus states when they helped Bill win. |
|
And if Hillary had done well, she'd be extolling their virtues.
I am so tired of her whining.

The Obama camp outsmarted those high dollar managers she had running her campaign (especially the one she had to fire) They (The Obama group) found a way to get a large number of delegates that campaigns do not usually focus on and used it to win.

14. A few weeks ago? How about a few years ago? |
|
Even a few weeks ago would be the same as it is now -- special pleading from a defeated campaign.
What's important is addressing the rules BEFORE the campaign starts.

17. Perhaps she could have pointed this out last Fall... |
|
You know.. before she LOST THEM. I have a feeling if she won those states back in February, she would have no problem with them. That's her issue.. she always cries after she loses - but never before.

19. I'm sorry, but what she's saying doesn't make a damn bit of sense. |
|
Nobody has any electoral votes. None. Zero. This idea that primaries are somehow useful as a predictor of general election results for individual states is complete nonsense. Hell, she even basically says it's nonsense herself, in the course of her remarks, but keeps hammering the point anyway.
Then there's her remarks on the caucuses. The caucuses are low turnout. OK, so... what, exactly?
There's really no convincing argument here. Quite frankly, she isn't even trying any more. She clearly knows that it's over.
