I have a question about touch screen voting since it seems to be the hot topic this year. Don't most states' constitutions require recounts when the race is within 1 or 2 percentage points? If this is the case, and from what I've read and heard on the news, there's no way to recount votes without a paper trail which won't be in place in November. What happens then? Will they throw the votes out and hold the election again with paper ballots? Something's not right here...

1. They'll just do what the wealthy Florida counties did for the recount |

which goes to the heart of the BBV debacle ...
The 'recounts' performed on Touch Screens are executed WITHIN the system itself ... AFTER the system may have been compromised through the various nefarious techniques described by BBV activists ...
Essentially: we wait for Diebold to execute their 'recount', after which they emerge from behind locked doors and give the thumbs up for whomever they wish to approve as the 'winner'...
Election by criminal enterprise ...

in the case of electronic votes is looking back at the totals and saying, yep, that's right.
There are also often provisional paper ballots or advance paper ballots, which may alter the outcome.
Here in Kansas, we're still waiting for the winner of the Republican primary to see who will be running against our incumbent Democratic Representative, Dennis Moore. Two of the three R's running were within 100 votes of each other, and so provisional ballots are being counted. I believe the paper advance ballots were counted ahead of time.
