I am watching a PBS special about Roosevelt. I think Obama will be a good President.

2. Roosevelt & Obama
There are quite a few parallels between the two, particularly when it comes to their strengths and how they campaigned.

4. The parallels lie more with the state of the union and it's people.
We can see where we are heading,
and the handbasket is NOT going
to hold!

We need someone who is not beholden to the
corporate interests.

I hope Obama is up to it!

3. I'm so proud to be an Oregonian about now. 75,000 is now Obama's record set in Portland.. Hoo-ahh.
But my better angels also look forward with anticipation to seeing some other urban center break
that record in the General Election.. GObama!!!!

FDR, JFK, RFK, MLK, Rosa Parks, Cesar Chavez and Ghandi (and why not Jesus H. Christ while we're at it) all rolled into one.

Our present-day Messiah.

What a steaming pile.
