Umm... There's something wrong with John McCain.
A little earlier I saw a video clip on CNN where John McCain attacks Barack Obama for offering to give nukes to Fidel Castro's brother (or something like that). In the video, I saw two disturbing things:

First, McCain loses control of his right eye. His entire cornea wanders down below his lower right eyelid. He then goes into some kind of correctional blinking exercise that successfully puts the two eyes back into sync. Very disturbing.

Then, a few seconds later, he gets hit by some sort of upper-body spasm. He attempts to provide cover for the spasm by stepping up the aggressiveness of his rhetoric (as if he was physically moved by what he was saying). Again disturbing.

Anybody else notice?

7. I saw something similar on the news the other day.
McCain was on his plane, talking to reporters, and he kept leaning forward then backwards repeatedly every time he started a new sentence.

It struck me as odd.

And I don't even play one on TV - I'm a lowly little old nurse practitioner. But...if a client came to me with that kind of affect and those kinds of twitches, I'd order a work-up for Parkinson's. Could also be any number of other neurological syndromes - including a few relatively harmless ones - but the man obviously needs to see a competent neurologist, and soon.

His entire left side of his face seems more slack than the right and how it had been before.

It's concerning.

I don't think he is well.

76. Max Clelland's war injuries didn't make him unfit
For high political office, any more than Roosevelt's paraplegia did. Or Robert Dole's war injuries (I happened to think Dole was unfit, but because of his policies, not because of his paralyzed arm). But if McCain has a serious neurological disorder - like incipient dementia or severe Parkinson's - it could definitely affect his ability to serve as POTUS.

I don't think most here are making fun of him. His health is a valid concern.

I think he's in the early stages of dementia, probably Alzheimer's. I worked in the field -- my profession included diagnosing dementia (among other neurological disorders). I'd most certainly diagnose him without examining him, but he's showing signs that certainly concern me.

can get the country back on track after Bush has tried to kill it the past 8 years. The GOP has tried to bankrupt the country so that we cut all social programs and then have to raise taxes and they can run on that platform in 2012.

The thing they don't understand is Obama can actually succeed.

Our Congress critter was constantly re-elected, since the district couldn't do without him. Reagan was re-elected, because the country couldn't do without him. I could cite many examples. The cemetary is full of people that we counldn't do without. Please don't force this person down our throat. His day is over, and it is time to move on. He could be having mini-strokes which precurse a major stroke.

I noticed the eye problem but hesitated to discuss it...not nice. But now that you mention it you have a more detailed description. I just thought he looked like could be blind in his left(?) eye. The one on the side of his face that he had the operation. I often wondered if his eyesight was effected as that eye looks a tad bit droopy and unfocused.

I didn't notice any strange body movement.
