1. Puerto Rico will wipe out any gains Obama makes in Oregon.

16. There are very few votes to be had in Montana and South Dakota.
And I'd expect it to be a 50/50 race in those two states.

As Puerto Rico goes, so goes the nation :silly:

22. What's even crazier is that Hillary supporters want to count Puerto Rico in the popular vote
But they don't want to count US states like Washington, Iowa, Nevada and Nebraska. It really makes your head spin.

28. Canada did vote.
The Democrats Abroad primary broke heavily towards Obama though.

17. Wait a minute: Aren't you predicting an upset in OR?
Or have you changed your mind? And sorry, it's over. Tomorrow the Pelosi Club endorses, and I'll bet anything that club grows from 9 to 25 within a week.

4. The states that had Caucuses did not tally the popular vote
the argument about the popular vote is a dead end road.

18. We're not going to win this one
They are in a deep cycle of rotating the same arguments over and over until they believe them to be the truth. Anyone who can claim that MI should seat 100% of their delegates as-is so that the will of the voters can be upheld, while completely discounting the votes of states that use a caucus system, obviously are either delusional or are not being intellectually honest.

23. Round and Round they go....in a circular argument....
I also wonder what if the votes were counted in Michigan and Florida and ummm Hillary didn't come out on top? What would the argument be then?

25. Lucky for Obama, then, that Democrats do not nominate by the popular vote alone.
Edited on Tue May-20-08 09:50 PM by rocknation
And why would PR's popular vote count if they can't vote in the GE?

27. Chopped Liver
Considering I'm from one of the caucus states that followed all of the rules and now has lost its right to be counted, I am going to raise an issue with my state party that we change our name to Chopped Liver. I know. I know. I accept that in Clinton America we no longer our out, one less star on the flag. It would have been nice it someone would have included in the rules that only the popular vote matters. Well, I guess hard-working White voters in my state need to get this through our heads... the Clinton-wing of the party is telling us to f'k-off.

In fact...why wait? I have a meeting Friday night with the representatives of the two campaigns. I think I'll ask the Clinton rep why they're bothering to court delegates from a state that doesn't mean squat.
