Edited on Wed Aug-11-04 08:20 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
I would think of all the attacks a terrorist could conceive of assasinating a leader of any major nation would be the most difficult....

1. Lemme guess...
just prior to the election, right?

It is inevetible. BushCo has something big planned to thwart the election they know they cannot legally (never mind legitimately) win.

9. My guess would be ...
... that the Intelligence Agencies will MIRACULOUSLY THWART an assassination attempt on Shrub or one of his partners-in-crime just before the election.

2. terra terra terra
it could be YOU for being a patriot, make sure you get some duct tape and plastic sheeting, and an extra gun or two. It's a good thing Drudge has intelligence resources that exceed even the CIA's intel; why he shoulda been nominated for Head Spook in the shrub's cabinet.

7. Actually It's A Link...
Drudge doesn't very little if any original investigation...

His biggest scoop was the Lewinsky scandal and that was pilfered from Newseek who was sitting on the story until they could verify it....

10. Clever! It's not often you see the words ...
.... "Drudge" and "intelligence" in the same sentence.

6. That doesn't really seem like their style
to me. They like to create fear in the masses generally.

Maybe this is Drudge making excuses for why Georgie won't have open rallies that are open to the public. Better to cast him as "under threat" than let people think he's the polical chickenshit that he is!

12. Bush should be protected by secret service people who are
Democrats. The Democratic party has the highest interest in keeping him alive and well. I'm not so sure he is as safe in the hands of the party that protected Gordon Liddy and Oliver North.
