I work for a small pest control company in northern Arkansas. Today, my car went on the fritz, and while I was waiting for my husband to come rescue me, I listened to NPR's All Things Considered. Something about Bush came on, and I grimaced. Two of our technicians, known familiarly around here as the "bug men", told me not to worry. Bug Man One said, "Kerry will win in a landslide. I don't know of anyone who is going to vote for him." Bug Man Two said, "Bush is an IDIOT! And that smirk of his-anyone who votes for him is an idiot, too!"
These guys are aged twenty something and forty something, have lived in the South all their lives. They like to hunt, ride four wheelers, and know a bit about NASCAR. These are the fellows that Bush seems to think he has in his back pocket. Bush is wrong.

IH how I hope you're right! I promise to turn on Limbaugh, boortz, Hannity & FOX for the next 3 days after the election if that happens. I NEVER listen to any of them, but that would be pure entertainment for me. What would they all do...slam the whole country?
