4. Sorry...song: "Yellow Submarine" on youtube

It made me smile while listening and looking at the accompanying video which were simple cut and paste stills from the movie. In part of this vid, the cartoon Beetles are marching across a wondrous land spreading cheer and hope while pushing back the dreaded Blue Meanies. It felt appropriate...off topic but appropriate.

btw: Was that a Carli Simon song? I sorta think so but it's been a long time since I heard it.

6. Forgot about her...

Somehow the voice for "It's Too Late" didn't fit for me with that deep voice singing "Your So Vain" also from around that time. Both great songs, both GREAT artists. I do recall that Tapestry was quite the popular and much loved album....I was into the harder stuff back then but most of the young ladies I knew had it in their record collections.

btw: I just a bit ago learned that Dick Martin from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In has passed away. Laugh-In was from a few years earlier than Tapestry but if you are old enough to remember Tapestry you might be old enough to remember Dick Martin. There is a DU thread regarding this and reminiscing:
