Rasmussen: Minnesota not competitive in the fall. Obama leads 53% to 38%. |
http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/minnesota/election_2008_minnesota_presidential_electionIt's important we don't have to watch our rear while campaigning in Missouri and Colorado in the fall. McCain is simply not competitive in MN, which is a very good thing.

24. I hope you're right. The Pawlenty factor makes me a little bit nervous. |
I'm rooting for a McSame/Romney ticket. Or better yet, McSame/Lieberman. Two douchebags for the price of one!

13. NC should be the lowest priority of that list. |
If I had to pick order of priority of battleground states it would be to first make sure Michigan and PA are secure. They have 38 EVs between them. Then Ohio and Missouri. Then Colorado. Then Virginia along with Florida. Then North Carolina.

21. Obama is also polling within 3 points of McSame in SC and is even in Indiana |
We also need to focus on Michigan.

Gore won there by 2 In 2004 and Kerry won by 4 In 2004 If Obama can win close to 10 this year this suggests Mccain Is In trouble.Independents are becoming the largier group In Minnesotta.

10. You are right about this. Minnesota tends to only be about 3-4 points more Democratic than the |
country as a whole. This would be huge.

9. Well *obviously* there are no white people in MN |
That's the only reason Obama is leading. That's a poor excuse for not installing the Goddess of Peace though.

20. The GOP has been throwing all their eggs in that basket |
The convention in St. Paul, Pawlenty being hyped as VP and all the money thrown around there. It's obvious that they want Minnesota bad.
Meanwhile, they're losing places like Virginia.
