This day last year I got into a fight for Hillary Clinton …
Edited on Sun May-25-08 03:38 PM by platosrepublic
I remember the day perfectly, I was in Garden Grove California, and some jerk with a “any one but the b**** 08” bumper sticker driving his SUV. He parked his car in front of me at an El Polo Loco restaurant; I got so pissed about the sticker that I had to say something.

I told him that the sticker was extremely shallow, and that he was an idiot; the guy muttered something under his breath (he had a mullet and a NASCAR shirt BTW) and went into the restaurant.

I felt good for sticking up for Hillary, and I thought that she was a genuinely good person, who had a problem with the “redneck” vote.

Its crazy how things can change with in a year, right now I can safely say that Hillary Clinton to me is at the same level as George Bush; she has bashed progressives, and praises FOX news; called her opponent an elitist for political gain (when he is anything but), said that Obama wasn’t a Muslim … as far as I know, and played on her supporters racist undertones.

I think the low point of her career was Friday, when she made the assassination comments, deep down we all know what she said, and we know she meant it; I have no respect left for her, and can say I would have said nothing to the mullet man in the truck if i knew what i know now about her.

1. Hillary has not changed. You have.
And for the worse, it sounds like.

Because you apparently can't be fair-minded or objective where the Clintons are concerned.

Instead, you react as Axelrod manipulates you to -- just like the Clinton-hating MSM.

5. Actually this person posted about
how they lashed out at someone because of a bumper sticker. A mullet wearing nascar type to be exact.

10. I totally agree, Hillary has not changed
she's the same unprincipled, imperious, calculating, pandering, triangulating phoney that has left me alternatively cold or grinding my teeth since the Clinton's first appeared upon the national stage. The continuous MSM drumbeat of her inevitability from the end of the '06 Mid-Terms to the beginning of the '08 primaries seemed to me one vast Capitalist Corporatist Globalist Neo-Monarchist plot. Unfair as his sexist shorthand was, I was and am in complete agreement with my mulleted brother's sentiment as to whom would best serve our nation.

6. Id' bet you still get up set with a bumper sticker like that.
I would. I would be OK with "Anybody but Hillary," though I'd disagree with it. In any case I wouldn't take the Obama 08 off my car to put either on.
