The way to fight the media bias is to begin with Fox News
Simply shut Fox News out. No Democrats should ever appear on Fox News. It is an echo chamber and any resources dedicated to it are a wasted effort.

Give exclusives to everybody BUT Fox News. That is the only way. And the likes of CNN and MSNBC will see an opportunity. They'll have what Fox doesn't have and viewers will be forced to tun into them.

Once that happens, OUR message starts getting out. OUR ideas get expressed and we're no longer being defensive while three Republicans talk over a single Democrat. It forces the media to come to us rather than us showing up at the media with hat in hand.

Think about it. Shutting out Fox News by every Democrat is a good idea. They'll keep Colmes and Zell Miller, but that gets them nothing.

2. watched "OutFoxed" last night
and they are worse than I thought. They are the Pravda of the Republican party, and they are dangerously influential. The Democratic party better do something about it.

They cannot play the game with FOX and pretend that they are real journalists. Attack their credibility at every turn.

3. I agree
No Dem should go on Fox, it just perpetuates the facade of balance.

5. The beauty is, you don't announce it
You simply do it.

It'll take a bit, but when Democrats stop answering calls from Fox, they'll get the idea. And the rest of the media will pick up on it quickly!

"This is Wolf Blitzer, and in the news today is a noticable difference in the lineup of guests on Fox News. We'll be talking with several Democrats about this, starting with Joe Biden.

Senator Biden, Welcome. Why are the only Democrats appearing on Fox Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman?"

"Well Wolf, for my part, it's just been a case of bad timing. It seems I'm always booked when they want me."

"Senator Biden, Bill O'Reilly complains this is a concerted effort by the Kerry Campaign to shut out Fox News. What can you say about that?"

"Well Wolf, I'd say ask them!"

8. Another point of attack...
Shutting them out is one way, another is to use the same tactic repubs use: contacting their sponsors. Anyone remember what happened when Bill Maher said that the terrorists weren't "cowards" during his show, "Politically Incorrect"? The repubs went nuts and they not only wrote letters and e-mails to ABC, but they also sent letters and e-mails to the shows sponsors. It was the effectiveness of the latter which brought down the show. If we were to target one or two shows on FOX news, and deluge their sponsors with our distaste of their unfair and unbalanced coverage, we might make a dent.

Shutting them out, tuning them out, and hitting their sponsors -- it would be a three-prong attack.

9. After seeing Howard Dean on "Asshat and Doormat"...
....aka "Scrappy Doo and Wussy Liberal", I beg to differ.

Dean got in a nice plug for "Outfoxed" and I swear, No Neck looked like he was gonna crap his drawers.

Clark has nailed him on several occasions.

So... only send the Dems with balls on. Keep Lieberman away from there.

Partial transcript:

Howard Dean 'outfoxed' Sean Hannity, during FOX Networks' program Hannity & Colmes (26 July 2004). Here's an excerpt from the transcript (# 072601cb.253). You can also view this Windows Media video stream of the incident.

HANNITY: Well, you say that about -- we weren't telling the truth about going into Iraq, but John Edwards and John Kerry both laid out the case about weapons of mass destruction the way the president did. Why does he get a pass from people like you?

DEAN: Well, there are other things that the president told us that were not so. There was no connection between al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. Even the 9/11 commission just said so. There was no . . .

(CROSSTALK)

DEAN: No, that's not what they said. As a matter of fact, that's what they didn't say. And if you think they should, you should watch "Outfoxed." It's a great movie that says why people like you say things like that on this television station.

HANNITY: Well, the fact is they did say that there was correspondence. There was activity between the two. And, my only point to you is, John Kerry can say that there is a nuclear threat from Saddam Hussein, that his WMDs represent a real threat, but it seems the left gives him a pass. And George Bush is the only one who said these things now.

13. Never thought of that. Good idea!
No more Estrich. No more Lieberman. Only Dems with balls. The others either get eaten alive and make us look WRONG and STUPID, or they suck up and make us look weak.
