is I just keep bumping up the threads of the posters here who I respect and who are, quite frankly SANE. Whenever I see a thread started by say MadFlo, Nance, K Gardner, Berni, Grant, Two Sparkles, Cali, Pro sense, Frenchie or say a Jefferson Dem I ALWAYS respond and ignore the usual suspects who will for now go unnamed. try it my fellow democrats it's fun they all just seem to go away.

if it sinks, few will alert on it. If it gets hits and more alerts, the better chances the mods will get sick of reading all the alerts and might TS the moran.

it's almost like they get their marching orders (pro-Clinton, anti-Obama propaganda) for the day and are set in motion to pollute the site with their lies and spin-I ain't playing anymore. We need party unity, this race is already OVER and if they don't want to vote for the democratic nominee then they should be made to go away and I'll alert on every single one of them after this is officially over next week.

concensus here that its only a few causing the disruption - and all of us, myself included, need to stop taking the bait. We may be able to turn DU back into a community for discussion of the GE even without waiting for whatever "official" declaration we're supposed to be waiting for.

I agree that responding to good posts, and ignoring the nonsense--is a good way to make the drivel
disappear and the good stuff shine.

It's hard though, especially after listening to Clinton's baloney conference call with bloggers.
We now have proof that her modus operandi is to list out the lies--and then rely on online, useful-idiot
minions to spread the disease onto sites like DU. We listened to that conference call, and almost
immediately--saw the talking points metastasizing on DU. Like clockwork.

I don't feel that the lies should go unchallenged. I think these willing accomplices--who have
no problem lying, distorting or disparaging--all for Hillary's lost caucus--should be allowed
to play their games without being called out.

However, you have a really good point. And if more people did what you suggested, the Hillary
talking pointer posts would fade away.

As usual, you make a thoughtful post and have given me something to think about.
