You Say Osama, I say Usama

I realize the name thing is stupid, but sadly a lot of stupid people vote.

I've seen two spellings of Osama, and Usama. I wonder if we all shouldn't start using the Usama spelling, since it is more different from our candidate's name?

Once again, I know it is a stupid thing, a name. It is something none of us have any control over. But some people do, and putting a bit of distance there, using the other CIA spelling, and I'm guessing it is pronounced more with a "U" might just be a good way to put a bit of distance between the two.

I've actually seen both spellings. More often the CIA spells it Usama.

Believe me, it will be brought up.

Sadly it seems some of you don't realize how stupid our voting public is. I supported Kucinch, Edwards, and now Obama, in that order. Edwards dropped out just before I could vote for him, so I defaulted to Obama, sort of with an anything but another Clinton attitude, and believing Obama will end up being more liberal.

It was just a suggestion, and I agree that people are dumb and will vote based on stupid things. If anyone has had any discussions on any boards outside of this board, where both sides are represented, you will realize just how dumb. I'm not saying be blatant and say this, and I wouldn't post this on another board, just this one. But when we refer to Osama, I'm just saying, use the Usama spelling. It is a small change, a nothing change, but one that makes the name a bit different.

One of Democrats' mistakes in the past has been understimating the stupidity of the voting public in general. Sure, we know it's stupid, but hey, a lot of people are buying into this Muslim, thus terrorist, thus Obama, thus Osama argument. Sad but true.

You should realize America will not change Osama name after hes 7 years old. I never supported Kucinich because he is right, and this country is so wrong he is unelectable.
So I supported Edwards, he would have lost anyway, but I supported him. Obama proved to be a lightning rod for issues concerning Mr. Edwards and he dropped out earlier than he should have because that would have reinforced the status quo, by Hillary's victory.

DU is the only place we can bring this up, yes. So I will tell you to move to the next level, that is we already know its Usama. The hard working people are too busy.
