1. If she is
It will pretty much kill her political future as a democrat. Of course it could improve her standing as a "republican"!

2. Courts aren't going to get involved. The parties get to decide how to pick their candidates.
It isn't like an election.

Crazy enough? I don't know. It depends on if they are acting rationally anymore.

7. Depends on the state.
In FL the legislature and governor are involved in setting primary dates. So there may be SOME narrow way in which she could challenge in FL. Of course at least half the blame is on the national party.

3. Perhaps in FL, yes.
I don't think she has much of a case in MI, though.

5. YES
Every time I have thought to myself, "Ok this is a new low for Hillary. NOW she can't possibly go any lower."... she goes lower!

And I know many will disagree with me about this, but I believe her RFK comments are the equivolent of wishing aloud for something to happen to Barack. If she can do THAT, what WON'T she do?

She's forcing the MI/FL issue and MARK MY WORDS... if she does not get the outcome she wants from the RBC committee on Saturday, she WILL take this to the next level. I understand that the next step in the process is an appeal, which WOULD take this all the way to the convention. Considering other litigation in TX and NV, OFCOURSE she will take this to the courts. OFCOURSE SHE WILL.

To her it is win at all costs. Win, no matter the damage to our nominee, our party or our nation. NOTHING is beneath her. NOTHING.

10. Dean is smarter than that ...
Edited on Tue May-27-08 12:19 PM by BearSquirrel2
I think Dean is playing straight up according to Democratic Party rules. Basically, the Democratic (and Reepub) Party is just a REALLY BIG CLUB. Violating the clubs bylaws (contract) is the is the only thing people could sue on is the IS NO RIGHT to vote in a primary, only a general election. You cannot disenfranchise someone who never was ENfranchised.

11. Unless the SDs step up and seal the deal, she will continue on her quest to destroy the Party
She doesn't have the guts to know when to stop. She will continue until the SDs step in.

13. 11th Cir. rejected one lawsuit already
The party is free to establish its rules and the courts will not get involved. The 11th Cir. has rejected and dismissed one lawsuit already.

20. Yes, and she will, if possible.
She has lost all sense of self-respect, IMO. It's sad, really, to watch someone break-down with the country watching.
