to veterans returning from war?

I am gaining more and more respect for madam Kay Bailey Hutchison as time goes on. I don't know if it's that she's getting better or because I'm seeing her compared to Cornyn.

19. That's just a stupid statement
This board reflects the turmoil that's going on within the party. There is a civil war raging in the Democratic party, which most people can't see for all the smoke. It's a battle for control -- who will run the party, the DLC or the DNC. This is why Hillary and Bill and their DLC partners are engaged in a slash-and-burn campaign. This is why the DNC got suckered by the Hillary gang into the self-destructive sanctions against FL and MI. The only thing that can come out of that is a loss of credibility by the DNC. It was a setup from Day 1.

Most people, even here, are dazzled by the bright, shiny objects and can't see what's going on behind the scenes, as the battle for control of the party rages on. Bill and Hill want to be the emperor and empress of the
party with their DLC courtiers right behind them. That's why she's not dropping out and that's why they don't care what happens to Obama.

Right now, Bill is the presumptive head of the party. If Hill drops out, and Obama is elected, then he becomes the head of the party. This is why Bill is campaigning full speed ahead to trash Obama.

Hillary won't drop out until she and Bill are assured they can have their hands on the levers of power in the party. It has nothing to do with being VP or anything like that. They have been in control for nearly 20 years. They aren't giving that up without a fight.

4. As long as Clinton insists...
...on conducting herself in a manner designed to torpedo our GE prospects, she's going to be a focus of discussion whether we're in GE more or not.

and believe "she can still win it".

Obama is the presumptive nominee. Period.

14. No, we know she can still lose the GE for Obama.
Which she appears to be enthusiastically attempting to do.

There is no chance in hell she can still win herself. She is out of reach of the nomination, no matter what the rules committee decides on the 31st.

17. See an old post of mine:

I got crucified for posting it.

But honestly, this all is very counterproductive. There definitely is an air of mob mentality going on right now. Hopefully it will pass.

Obama Love?
Hillary Hate?

Winning in November is certainly not their top priority.

27. the OP is a mite confused. Obama's campaign is in general election
mode and focusing on McCain. And yes, some Obama supporters here are worried that Obama won't be the nominee. It's an unreasonable worry, but there it is.
