1. That's how I expected them to rule
I heard the plaintiff will take it all the way to the SCOTUS if necessary. I wonder if they'll agree to hear it.

And they have over and over and over again. It's up to parties to decide how to organize.

8. Of course they have the right to make such rules
but nevertheless, the enforcement was wrong and will backfire. It could cost the Democratic party the General Election.
Why does no one see that? Why is the DNC so revered for their error?

Why are FL and MI natives not railing against the RNC?

26. She is not revered, at least not by me.
She did run a shitty campaign. It just adds on to the many snafus in this campaign.
We are fucked. She certainly had a hand in this.

If we win florida, McCain will have no chance. I know Obama is putting a lot of feet on the ground in the state so lets wait and see.

All this shit will be completely blown over by November.
Unless of course camp hillary keeps making it an issue even after she's LOST and the convention's over.

Edited on Wed May-28-08 10:42 AM by iamthebandfanman
they are going against the consitution.

private organisations can do as they please for the most part.
thats part of their liberty and freedom given to them.

i guess we should start telling churches, non for profits, and private schools how to run their organisations to eh ?

so ironic that they try to take other peoples rights away in the name of the same very rights.

15. Courts don't get involved in primaries unless there is a damn good reason
Unless they are practicing overt racial discrimination (like the old all-white Democratic primaries in the Old South), courts are not going to get involved.

There is no due process issue either, as the rules were implemented by a fair process that gave MI and FL a chance to be heard if they followed the rules.

17. Wasn't that the 3rd or 4th suite filed by the Fla. Dems against the DNC?
They lost them ALL! I guess FINALLY, the courts have put the blame where it belongs!

IMO, if those 2 States don't have to pay SOME PRICE for breaking the Party Rules this time, the next GE is going to be a BIGGER nightmare!
