Hillary's actual mathematical chances of being the nominee: |
|
Edited on Wed May-28-08 02:46 PM by Erin Elizabeth
Pr(x) = 0
Where x is the event (in this case, Hillary becoming the nominee) and Pr is the probability. The result is zero.
So there you go. In mathematics, this is called an impossible event.
I have a greater chance of winning the state lottery Saturday night, because THAT is actually possible. There is SOME probability to it, however slight. The probability is not absolutely zero.
In fact, Hillary has a better chance of winning the lottery than becoming the nominee. I suggest she buy a few tickets, she could pay off that campaign debt if she hits those numbers.

5. No, actually if all the sd's and some pd's switch to her, she can win. |
|
Just pointing out, it's not mathematically impossible.
unlikely, yes.

10. Nah. Obama could be assassinated like RFK. He could get caught in a sex scandal like Gary Hart. |
|
He could read DU, come across a Clinton supporter whining about how mean Obama supporters are, suffer a change of heart, and drop out of the race.
