NOBODY should visit Iraq while this election is on, NOBODY! |
|
McCain's outrageous challenge to Obama puts all of our troops at risk, takes valuable resources away from protecting them and is nothing but a ploy and a photo-op. Someone wisely suggested on another thread that Obama should respond by saying that the next time he will be in Iraq is to lead the troops home.
Between McCain's shameless exploitation of Iraq and Scotty's new book, we should be able to nail this bastard well before the end of the summer...if we can get our act together, that is.

2. They're just hoping for a Dukakis-like photo-op. |

7. I honestly don't see what they think they're doing with this. |

Doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess for a Republican this year, any issue is better than the real issues.

REAL sniper incident that would take him out of the race, perhaps permanently.

They'd settle for a photo op which would include a hand picked group of fellas in uniform not exactly fond of Obama (even though he leads in military donations) contrasted with images of Iraqis excited as hell to see the next President of the United States. So photo op would be:
Soldiers Hate Obama / Muslims Love Obama
I think the Bush gang still has enough of his lackey's over there to get that put together.

11. Obama's a lot smarter than that. |
|
He knows, as we do, that McCain's visit to Iraq was an obvious dog-and-pony show, and he has far more class than to waste money and put lives at risk just to do his own show.
