WV Superdelegates and END GAME
It’s interesting to note that West Virginia’s entire Democratic Congressional delegation, Byrd, Rockefeller, Rahall and Mollohan, all endorsed Barack Obama...in spite of the fact that their constituency overwhelmingly supported Hillary Clinton.

Now this is sense and sensibility...knowing in part that many, not all, of their constituents are uneducated and voted for Hillary primarily because she’s white and/or has the Clinton handle...not based on reality. These delegates deserve kudos for their strength of leadership in standing up against racism and supporting the better, and winning, candidate -- Barack Obama.

Ergo, to the remaining superdelegates...drum up a little intestinal fortitude and follow the lead of West Virginia’s superdelegate delegation.

Oh well, per the New York Times today...it will be over by Thursday of next week. REID: “By this time next week, it will all be over, give or take a day” Give or take “a day” not days, not a week, not a month and no taking it to the convention. This would appear to mean that even Reid is switching his support from Clinton to Obama.

On Tuesday, June 3rd, prepare for an onslaught of superdelegates supporting Obama...even before the counting of votes in the South Dakota and Montana primaries. James Clyburn will begin it with his endorsement at 11 a.m. on Tuesday...his words, not mine.

So, have the champagne iced and be ready to pop the cork on or about June 5th and be prepared to raise our glasses in unison to toast the Democratic Party’s candidate –- Barack Obama.

It has been interesting. IT IS OVER, it's been over for months.

1. You should see the comments in the WV newspapers ...
People are positively livid that the state's congressional superdelegates are endorsing Obama. They're all threatening to vote against Rockefeller, Byrd, etc., in the next election.

Whatever. I applaud the supers for making the right decision. :toast:
