Sad To See So Many Obama Supporters As Reactionary Screamers
Edited on Fri May-30-08 08:33 AM by cryingshame
The extent to which so many Obama supporters feel a need to pollute DU with threads over-reacting to whatever bullshit the Mediawhores and Hillary throw out is kind of disturbing.

With Scott McClellan's book, of COURSE the Mediawhores were looking for a distraction.

And it sounds like the Mediawhores and GOP got burned on Holocaust-gate.

What's saddest is when it comes to Hillary. She is close to irrelevant and deserves to be ignored and yet so many DU'ers are obsessed with attacking her which just gives her the attention she craves.

Get a GRIP, Obama supporters.

Let the clergy be themselves and serve their congregation as they see fit. And stop being distracted by whatever shiny object some asshole on DU, tv or whatever dangles in front of you.

I have so many Hillary supporters on Ignore, I don't even find out about the latest faux outrage until quite a while later when it's OBAMA SUPPORTERS giving life to the latest stupid crap.

2. Bully tactic.
Provoke, then ridicule when a defense is presented.

4. I'm just waiting for Tues.
Then I'm just gonna bask in the afterglow.

I know Hillary will have some new delusional screed about how only she can win the GE But she's all done and she's just poisoning her own future chances.

5. The number of people posting obvious flame-bait like this is steadily dropping
I thought you'd heard.

Your numbers are thinning and your days at DU are numbered. :nuke:

6. Yeah, I'm Sure Hillary Steps Out Of Her Bubble Often To Peruse DU Forums...
Maybe you Clinton supporters here should take a step back and start looking at the big picture. The party is not going to take the nomination away from Obama just to soothe your hurt feelings. She has lost and yet every day certain of you post extremely negative threads about Obama in order to stir it up here. Maybe some of you should "get a grip".

Look at response #5 to your post - I recently said something which wasn't 100% sucking Obama's ass and my "fellow Obama supporters" immediately started jumping down my throat, accusing me of being a closet Hillary supporter and other such nonsense...once I made my feelings clear on the issue the mods went through and deleted all the idiot posts accusing me of such because one look at my post history makes it crystal clear that I'm in Obama's corner.

But considering that so many people on DU have been chanting about "Hillbots" for so long, which is a criticism of someone for robotically supporting their candidate, it's ironic that we also DO have "Obamabots" who do precisely the same thing, but in a different mode - robotically attacking anyone who doesn't appear to be supporting and defending Obama to the point where they would gladly take a bullet for him.

It scares me, to be honest. Blind support of political parties and politicians is what got America into the mess it's in, politically-speaking. Obama and ANY politician should ALWAYS have to EARN their supporters through faithful service and following through with promises.

If those were the criteria by which we judged all our elected officials, we'd keep voting people out so consistently that our elected officials would have no choice but to actually DO THEIR JOBS if they wanted to retain their offices, and the sort of rampant incumbencies that paralyze our government would cease to exist.

It's one thing to support Obama, but it's another thing to become an android.

In short, I agree. I don't think there's anything to be scared of from Hillary anymore. It's over. We've won.

Time to start concentrating on taking down McCain. Yes, this primary season has been frustrating as hell, but if you have faith, like I do, that Obama can win the GE in a landslide even with less prep time than would normally be accorded him without such a circus of a primary season, then we don't need to worry about Hillary anymore.

I mean, come on, look at her press coverage. She's become a joke. Pelosi and Reid are already laying the PR groundwork to step in and end this. It's done. We've won.

Thank God...although I have to wait until it's officially official before I can sing "Ding, dong, the witch is dead" and laugh here at the office...but I can wait a little longer. Delayed gratification just makes it sweeter.
