Obama Accused of Personally Desecrating Police Memorial
Edited on Sat May-31-08 08:41 AM by theFrankFactor
Law enforcement enthusiasts and alumni "outraged" about placement of Port-Potties at an Obama rally.

http://www.policelink.com/news/26729-obama-uses-police-memorial-for-porta-potties

http://policelink.com/news/

Oregon police department demanding an apology from the Obama camp for placing porta potties directly on top of a police memorial, during his supposed event that drew 75.000 people.

Looking in to this will reveal the knee-jerk hate filled hysteria of the right (and maybe even the left).

Sorry if repost.

2. Yep

I'm sure the Senator walked the area in advance and made this decision.

3. Noise machine begining to kick into campaign mode.
>>>>>Should we expect anything less from a man that has lied all through his campaign. The man respects nothing American. Another thing that gripes me is that all these people in the picture act like they don't even care that our fallen Brothers and Sisters have been disgraced. People think that he is the grandest thing to hit America but I tell you he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. The man cares nothing for Law Enforcement or the people of America. We need to get the word out to all of our family and friends. When I saw this article I wanted to throw up. To the familes of the Fallen Heroes I am truly sorry you had to experience this kind of disgrace and my heart goes out to each and everyone of you. To Obama aka Osama you are a disgrace to this country and the people that have fought and died in this country to make it the GREATEST NATION ON THIS EARTH. >>>>

A reply on the policelink site.

Hope Obama and Co. have a plan. I'd suggest 'planned ignoring' as an apology will keep the story going.

4. Why aren't they protesting to the Porta-Potty people?
Did Obama tell them to place the PPs there? Police should know better.

8. For the Record...
Not that anyone should care, but I do; It was evident to me that the likelihood of this being a conscious effort by the Obama staff was ridiculous. I am just amazed at the rabid response from the group at the Police site.

9.  I'd think the police would know how those park events are handled.
I'd also have to question that if it bothered that particular cop so much that he photographed it, why didn't he call the appropriate people and have the porta potty company move them immediately.
