John Roberts showing map of Hillary's victories in FL, Mi, OH & PA and comparing it with
George Bush and how he won those same areas against Kerry in 2004. It is so disingenuous.

You can't compare the primary and the general. There is no guarantee that she will beat McCain in those areas, and there is no proof that McCain will beat Obama in those areas.

Just sick of them trying to sell BS news and outcomes!

3. I did NOT miss the point, I only asked a simple question
I am not watching or listening to the hearings, and simply asked a question

4. Why do you think that Doityourself would have the answer to your question?
I respectfully suggest that you go to the state of FL elections page, find the results by county, and figure it out for yourself.

9. She Had A Plurality - Not Majority
Of the 16 counties, Clinton had 7. Edwards got 5 and Obama 4.

Edwards won 5 other counties in North Florida, Obama 4. Clinton got all the rest - everything south of Gainesville.

12. Worthless
It is worthless to point to these hypothetical match ups and say that Hillary beats McCain more easily than Obama.

For one thing, it is several months out and a lot can change between now and November. For another, since Obama is now the front runner, he is getting more negative press than Hillary. The only flack she gets now is why she is still running - that sort of thing makes her a little sympathetic. Obama has started to catch heat for some of his past. If we want to go on hypotheticals, if Hillary were in the lead, the media would be revisiting all the Clinton scandals, making her numbers lower.

10. Of course Mondale only won Minnesota in the primaries.

A ridiculously stupid argument.

11. Using that logic, I guess it's over for McCain then.
I mean, Bush won KS, TN, AR, LA, AL, GA, NV, UT, CO, WY, MT, ND, and AK in 2004, and McCain lost these primaries in 2008.

No way can McCain win a GE by only winning ID, AZ, TX, OK, MO, IN, OH, KY, WV, VA, NC, SC, FL, and MS.

It's over. McCain has lost the GE!

Thank you, John Roberts!

What a tool.

13. The sad thing is that The Enablers will use that same logic to make their point
that Hillary is more electable. They have no concept of the fact that primaries and the general elections are two entirely different things...like comparing apples to oranges.

14. Did you see the Gallup survey of this point?
It illustrated that HRC has a significant advantage against McCain in the states she won while Obama trails and does not have an advantage over McCain in the states he won.
