Kerry Forced Bush To Change His "Turn The Corner" Theme |
|
Edited on Sat Aug-14-04 10:30 PM by cryingshame
Kerry is in the lead. And drawing large crowds. That don't have to sign loyalty oaths.
So the next time someone wants to dump on the campaign he's running... SHOVE IT! :)
Oh, I almost forgot... Bush is desperately trying to rally his base. And has essentially given up on the moderate middle.

1. That makes no sense... |
|
Why have people like Schwarzenegger, Guliani, and McCain speak at the convention? Mind as well put Falwell and Robertson in the lime light.
These people are too weird....

You don't go negative when you have the lead. I don't know why so many people can't understand that.

So Chicken George has to toss another Rove slogan. How many does that make so far?
As good a job as they're doing, I can't give Kerry's campaign too much credit. Everything BushCo says and does is so jam-packed with irony it's, as another failed George once said, a slam dunk.

6. Big deal, he changed his theme. |
|
They do that at the drop of a hat. That is a tactical move, not strategic. It means nothing. The fact remains that the national media is playing Rove's tune; so, Bush*s chosen issues are the ones that dominate the national debate. If Kerry doesn't change that dynamic, we're in for a world of hurt.
If Kerry was polling above 53%, I'd agree with you. The fact that he can't get above 50% given Bush*s total failure is very, very, very worrisome.

7. It's The SECOND Time Kerry Forced Junior To Change |
|

Remember Howard Dean.

9. I AM remembering Howard Dean. |
|
If you recall Dean (like Kerry now) had a committed, but minority lead. He never could break through his ceiling. And in the end that left him open to defeat.
Kerry's situation now is exactly like that. He's got a lead, but not a majority. His lead is static and apparently topped out. Like Dean, he hasn't shown at any time that he can push through to get a majority. That is a HUGE problem, given how badly Bush* has failed our nation.
Again, so what if the Chimperor has changed his slogan twice, or twenty times. What matters is whose issues are being debated in the national media. Rove wins hands down on that.
