If anybody tells you that polls show Clinton outperforming Obama in the GE ... |
|
... please inform them that Clinton is experiencing an artificial bounce in the polls because nobody is campaigning against her. In fact, she is having praise heaped on her from an ensemble cast including everybody from Barack Obama to Sean Hannity.
John Edwards experienced the same bounce in 2004. Bill Bradley experienced it in 2000.
Obama is having dung thrown at him from 2 directions. McCain and Obama are entrenched against one another. It is frankly amazing that he is maintaining his sizeable lead in the national tracking polls.

The reason that Clinton's poll numbers are up right now is because her former opponent is saying what a nice lady she is.

3. Obama has two people campaigning against him |
|
McCain has one, and Clinton has zero. That fact is important to the current poll results.
