Former Iowa Gov. (and huge Hillary supporter) Tom Vilsack tells Hillary its over!
This sums it up perfectly:

Vilsack, who was briefly a presidential candidate himself last year, told the Associated Press it's "pretty clear that Senator Obama is going to be the nominee."

"After Tuesday's contests, she needs to acknowledge that he's going to be the nominee and quickly get behind him," Vilsack also said.

1. I've often wondered.
When Hillary came and met with Tom in Iowa....he dropped his presidential bid.....some time later he jumped on her bandwagon. I have often wondered. If she had won Iowa and went on to get the nomination.....what was he promised??.....we'll never know I guess.....

On thing he did do though.....most likely killed his political career......

2. He only ran because of Hillary.
The theory was that HE would win the Iowa caucus and no one else could gain any momentum from winning. It was all for Hillary. Vilsack was never going to be the nominee. He knew it, Iowans knew it. Heck...he could get above a 4th place in early polling. His money ran dry and he had to get out.

Iowans simply did not buy into his candidacy. He was liked but not all that popular.

It took him all of 4 seconds to publicize his endorsement of Hillary...and about 4 more seconds for her campaign to say it was going to help him with his campaign debt.

It was all part of a plan.
