what was Kerry's Intelligence Committee attendance record?
that's the latest attack vehicle

I heard on the radio that Kerry missed 38 out of 45 meetings, if not votes, but also heard that those were public meetings; that there were many more closed door hearings

today, some NBC shill was talking about WH contention that Kerry missed most of the votes, and pugs will be hammering him on that

where to find out details on this?

and, also, why doesn't Kerry mention that he wrote a BOOK on terrorism? is it that sucky that he/surrogates won't mention it?

6. That is true - number of meetings close to 329. The media is selling the

GOP partial truth lie - again.

By the way, the official claim is 48 meetings and 38 missed - but the GOP who also "missed" are a who's who.

And the GOP will not release the attendance at all 400 meetings - appears it might embarrass the GOP! LOL

But our media whores jump in as the are paid to do - lest they lose "sources" and have a decreased paycheck, or just have a decreased paycheck via being on the wrong side of management.

Sad when the medias lack of "balls" is so obvious.

:-)

4. On one of the talk shows yesterday
someone said those records (attendance) are not public.

And to make them public, Sen Roberts & Sen Rockefeller BOTH have to agree.

5. Check the johnkerry.com rapid response center
"FUZZY MATH AND BAD STATS MISLEAD ON KERRY’S RECORD

Ad Text: “As a member of the intelligence committee, Senator Kerry was absent for 76% of the committee’s hearings.”

Selective math and sketchy methods:
The Bush-Cheney Campaign is using misleading numbers and cannot pretend to have the facts. They rely only on whether Sen. Kerry made statements in one of a small number of open hearings. For example from 1993-1998 the Select Intelligence Committee held more than 329 meetings, hearings and markups. Just 65 of these were open meetings. "

8. How the hell are you supposed to run for president?
Bush didn't resign his office to run did he? What is he doing when he is out campaigning? Recently, there were meetings among "senior administration officials" at the WH regarding the 9/11 report and what actions needed to be taken immediately. Where was Bush? Out west, campaigning.

9. There used to be an unwritten rule about this
Respectfully not mentioned missed meetings or votes when someone is campaigning but I guess that too has fallen by the wayside. You can't be in two places at the same time.

Check the John Kerry rapid response post above-this is all BS anyway (surprised?)

10. One might say the same about Bush- instead of RUNNING THE COUNTRY
he's been running AROUND the country for most of this year. If he was so certain of his record being good, he'd have been DOING HIS JOB instead of desperately trying to keep his base.
