What does she want?
Who the fuck cares what she wants?
She is the most divisive egocentric lunatic on the face of the planet.

38. Ok. Seriously. Did we watch the same speech? |
|
I swear I'm stone cold sober and on pure air right now. I thought her speech was uncharistically gracious compared to previous speeches. As one human being judging another, I :hide: gave her an A- for effort.
I admit I was vacuuming at the time but what did I miss?
I think we need to not judge her by Obama's barometer of graciousness. Maybe too I was expecting such nonesense from her that I didn't get offended at what she said. I found it insipid, pandering and very manipulative of her supporters but no more loathesome than what other politicians have said or done.
Help me out here before I make a fool of myself gicing her a slight pass. FYI, my brother died in Iraq and that's the main reason I loathe her and other politicians who voted for this war. My emotional fury is very deep but politically, I don't understand the outcry against her tonight. It seemed more to me that BOTHBarack and Hillary have already started the tenuous, difficult path to healing these bitter Primary divisions and that we should support them, even if it looked like baby steps. Honestly my friend, when I listened to Hillary, I thought those were more than baby steps. Help me out here before I make a fool of myself if I missed something. Maybe I'm just too tired of fighting with people I know are on the same side tp see things properly.

39. Dearest Catherina.. I envy you your ability to focus on the superbly wonderful |
|
thing that happened tonight and not be consumed by what some of us see as Hillary's great downfall. Her last fatal mistake.
Tonight was an historic night which should have belonged to Barack Obama. She could have begun to unify the party, instead, she did not even acknowledge he won; she asked her supporters to send in suggestions; she basically threatened to form a coalition government; she had no grace, no dignity; she is inflaming her supporters and continuing to divide the party. Articles will be out tomorrow; books will be written about this.. and about her one, singular, selfish act.
Given your tragic history, and I am so sorry about your brother, I can understand why you are ready to heal.. ready to see the best in everyone and everything. I envy you that. Please don't let OUR outrage here spoil the elation YOU feel tonight.
I don't want that. Barack wouldn't want that. Each of us has to fight a different fight, until we're each ready to lay down our arms.
I suppose Hillary is no different.
Hugs to you.. try to stay away from here for awhile.. it won't get better until she has bowed out.
 Much love to you :hi:

I'm going to watch her speech again.
I think I'm just so ecstatic that Obama won that I'm not looking at the small stuff. All the trolls in the world won't ruin this moment for me now that the significance of his win is really beginning to hit me. Tonight belongs to Obama and to us. None of them can take it away.
I swore when my brother died that I'd work against EVERY politician who ever enabled this war so we had a private moment tonight where I celebrated with him and all the past and future victims whose lives are so cheap to politicians.
Tonight still belongs to us and to Obama. Michelle is probably giving him mad kisses right now, celebrating with great champagne.
Her coalition government will fail as epically as her inevitability. I kind of feel sorry for her and won't ever forgive her campaign for the tactics they used, Bill especially.
Thank you for your wonderful answer. I'm going to go soon and do some more private celebrating.
This one's for T. We beat em. We really beat em

She could have ended this with grace and dignity but, no, she is going to do her "best" to create havoc and continue to disgrace herself and her legacy. Once I get over my disgust, I suspect I will move to pity her but NOT yet.

I have much faith in our nominee's ability to dispose of his narcissist problem. The way he flipped McCain's attack on his lack of experience around in that speech was masterful, and I trust he can flip Clinton's temper tantrum's back at her too.

Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 10:02 PM by Arrowhead2k1
how were we supposed to trust her with making decisive decisions as POTUS?! Is this her idea of leadership? Let her supporters scream DENVER! DENVER! DENVER! as if that truly is an option?
I didn't think it was possible, but I lost even more respect for her tonight. Earlier I was open to the idea of having her as VP. Now just FUCK IT! Anyone but Clinton for VEEP!
