I am simply floored by how this man speaks .....
His vision is clear ... His cause is MY cause, and my family's cause ....
Truly: This man is a master orator with a deep vision that is grand and encompassing ....
Wow ......

I have argued with you throughout the last 18 months (well .. kinda ... sometimes ... ) ... but today: We stand shoulder to shoulder, proud to support such a wonderful man in our quest to regain the seat of power, and to turn this travesty of a government around ....
Yea Obama .....
And YEA Babylonsister ....

I remember, even though I was a child, the optimistic force of Kennedy's speeches ..... and Obama takes that baton from JFK, and runs swiftly and surely up that mountain ....
We are blessed by nature to have such a wonderful visionary to lead us ....

A visionary speech. Positive. Uplifting.
It was also a strong, substantive attack on the Bush-McCain agenda.
It wasn't all about him ... unlike the stump speech delivered in New York tonight by that other candidate.

13. Hillary makes herself look like a shmuck ... mean-spirited, shrill, mundane, and destructive. |
|
She's made a total caricature of herself.

11. He's the best orator I've heard since Barbara Jordan ... and RFK, MLK, & JFK before that. |
|
He LISTENS to himself and thinks it through ... gracefully inserting emphasis words for meter and rhythm, and gracefully smoothing the (inevitable) minor flubs. These ARE his words ... not merely an act. He obviously works his own speeches. The rhythm and emphasis and balance seem innate ... but it takes education, practice, and talent.

He started out a little slow for a brief couple of minutes and then BAM! It was magnificent.

picked up the pace a bit, to help him not give in. I had the distinct feeling that he was going to say something at that point about his mother but decided not to, because of the fact that it was such an emotional moment. Just a feeling.
God, I love that man and his strong and good heart.

We are so lucky that he came upon the scene when he did.
This country is just gonna keep getting better!
