About HRC's speech, In hindsight... |
|
Did any of the other nominee candidates (D or R) drop out the night of the caucus or primary? I'll cut her some slack if she drops out by the end of the week.
But does she really have an "army" to use as a negotiating chip? Follow me on this...
~50% will go with Obama right now. ~10% will go with McCain no matter what. I would wager maybe 10-20% will come around and go with Obama in the next couple of weeks.
That leave us with about 25% of her base left.
How badly do we need them? Can they be reasoned with through campaigning (by contrasting Obama against McCain)? Are they worth a VP spot? Or a cabinet post?
Tomorrow or by the end of the week, I hope HRC will realize her bargaining chip isn't as valuable as she thinks it is. Apparently, she's meeting with both Obama and the party leadership soon. Let's hope they talk some sense into her.

1. That's the trip. She "thinks" that she has 18,000,000 voters to negotiate with.... |
|
Hell, she's even counting the Operation Chaos Republicans! LOL!

2. Sometimes I wonder about her "army." |

I had been sitting her thinking about it. Everywhere Clinton and Obama go, Obama draws crowds 2, 3, 4 times larger. I'm wondering why his crowds are so much larger, but the vote count is so close. I just can't figure that one out. Do all these enthusiastic people not vote? Something to think about.
